She also taught at the conservatories in Cologne and Hanover before being appointed full professor at the Hanover University of Music and Theatre in 2002. In 2011, she moved to the University of Music and Theatre in Munich.

Since then she has led a rich concert life with recitals, solo concerts and chamber music. She has been a guest at major German music festivals such as the Ansbach Bach Festival, the Rheingau Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Festival and the Würzburg Mozart Festival and plays at the chamber music festivals of pianists Lars Vogt (‘Spannungen: Musik im Kraftwerk Heimbach’) and Leif Uve Andsnes in Risør/Norway. She was principal flute at the Bayreuth Festival for three years. In Germany, she has performed flute concertos with the Saarbrücken Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Rhineland-Palatinate State Philharmonic Orchestra, the philharmonic orchestras of Augsburg, Kiel, Bochum, Oldenburg, Hagen, Osnabrück, Bremerhaven and numerous chamber orchestras. World premieres of the double concertos by Bernd Franke (with oboe/Christian Wetzel) and Olav Berg (with bassoon/Dag Jensen) took place in 2004 with the Darmstadt Philharmonic Orchestra and in 2008 with the NDR Radiophilharmonie.
