Seit 2025 steht das Forum Artium unter der Leitung von Stephan Lutermann.
Der in Osnabrück geborene Organist, Dirigent und Hochschullehrer studierte am Mozarteum Salzburg sowie an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln. Als Solist und Dirigent ist er international tätig und konzertiert in Europa, Nord und Südamerika sowie Afrika.
Seine künstlerische Arbeit verbindet historische Aufführungspraxis, innovative Konzertformate und internationale Vernetzung. Als Gründer des Vokalconsort Osnabrück und des europäischen Ensembles CHOREOS hat er neue Impulse im Bereich der chorischen Arbeit gesetzt.
Von 2022 bis 2024 war er Vertretungsprofessor für Chorleitung an der HfMT in Hamburg. Seit 2025 ist er Intendant des Festivals Musica Viva.
Mit seiner Leitung entwickelt sich das Forum Artium als Ort musikalischer Exzellenz kontinuierlich weiter.
