MASTERCLASSES
Every year, the FORUM artium Academy organises an average of 40-50 master classes and seminars with internationally renowned lecturers from Germany and abroad, which are held in the institute’s own seminar house in Georgsmarienhütte, Lower Saxony (approx. 10 km south of Osnabrück).

Information about the courses
Course start
As a rule, courses begin in the early afternoon of the first day of the course and end at midday/afternoon of the last day of the course.
Course units
Unless otherwise stated, the course repertoire for the courses can be chosen freely.
Target group
Unless otherwise stated, the courses are aimed in particular at very gifted and advanced pupils, students and professionals.
Application deadline
Four weeks before the start of the course – thereafter on request at FORUM ARTIUM.
Repetiteur
An accompanist with very good knowledge of the repertoire is available for the entire duration of the course.

Railway connection
Osnabrück main station, from there by bus (approx. 25 min.) to Georgsmarienhütte or by Nordwest-Bahn to Georgsmarienhütte-Oesede and from there by bus (5 min.) to Alt-Georgsmarienhütte / Diakonie-Krankenhaus stop.
Airport
The next airport is the FMO Münster-Osnabrück (approx. 30 minutes by car), more airports in the surrounding area are Düsseldorf, Bremen and Hanover.
Scholarships
The Forum Artium awards a very limited number of scholarships each year, but these are limited to the course fees alone (in full or in part). A scholarship is only possible upon written application with detailed justification (in English or German, please without using Chat GPT).
